Life Skills & Practical Knowledge
Life Skills teaches the essentials for making daily life easier, safer, and more fulfilling. From personal routines and hygiene to emergency preparedness, homesteading, pet care, cooking, money management, and entrepreneurship, these lessons provide students with practical knowledge they can apply every day.
By building confidence in routines, finances, care, and planning, learners develop independence, adaptability, and perseverance. Life Skills foster self-reliance, problem-solving, and strong habits. Qualities that support success at home, in the community, and beyond.
Some classes and resources may reference PG-13 content, including fandom scenarios, real-world tools or equipment (gardening, construction, solar, poultry, or livestock), online activities, money management, or business topics. Parents should review content and supervise participation as needed.
